ADT’s dancers perform classical and contemporary ballets by nationally recognized guest choreographers, as well as emerging choreographers within the company. The company emphasizes serious training for the pre-professional dancer. The training foundation is classical ballet drawing strongly from the Russian Syllabus.

Professional Dancers
Joy Ohme
Dance Faculty of BTW Magnet School, ADT member since 1999, attended the Atlanta Ballet, Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet School, B.F.A. Graduate and former member of Southern Methodist University Meadows Dance Ensemble, recipient of the Southern Methodist Dance Division Scholarship, former Professional with the Montgomery Ballet, wife of Corey Ohme and mother of Camilla Joy Ohme.
Casey Vaughan
Casey is a former ADT company member from 1995-2002, Ms. Vaughan returns after an apprenticeship with Alabama Ballet in 2002 and 4 years of training under the world renowned teacher, Magaly Suarez, in Pompano Beach, FL. Ms. Vaughan has danced leading roles in full length ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, La Bayadere, Le Corsaire, Coppelia, Pas De Quatre, La Vivandiere and Paquita, while working with many acclaimed choreographers. She has also performed the Balanchine classics La Source and Stars and Stripes. Ms. Vaughan was a finalist in the regional Youth American Grand Prix in 2004 and had the honor in 2006 of dancing with The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami. Most recently, she represented the United States in the Senior Division of the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi coached by Magaly Suarez.

Liza Cardinal
Senior, Montgomery Academy, ADT member since 2001, accepted to Atlanta Ballet, Kansas City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre Summer Program, and attended Alabama Ballet and South Carolina Ballet, daughter of Louis and Lang Cardinal.
Sarah Hitchner
Sophomore, Saint James, ADT member since 2007, attended San Francisco Ballet and Boston Ballet, accepted to Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Universal Ballet Academy, The Rock School, and Atlanta Ballet. ACES 3rd place 2007, daughter of Bob and Chie Hitchner.
Sydney Holmberg
Senior, BTW Magnet High School, ADT member since 2003, alternate for Craft of Choreography 2004-2005, honorable mention ACES 2007, Dance Magnet at BTW, daughter of Danny and Linda Holmberg.
Ashley McQueen
Junior, LAMP, ADT member since 2002, acceptance/scholarships to Birmingham Southern, Kansas City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Orlando Ballet and American Ballet Theatre 2005 and 2006, attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, ACES 2nd place winner 2004, ACES honorable mention 2007, daughter of Sarah and Bob McQueen.

Ninth Grade, EFCA, ADT member since 2005, daughter of Jayne and Dane Moore.
Anne Caroline Thompson
Sophomore, Trinity, ADT member since 2003, acceptance/scholarships to Atlanta Ballet, SEDAC, American Ballet Theatre, Austin Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Phildanco, Alabama Ballet, Metropolitan Ballet. Attended Houston Ballet with partial scholarship and was accepted to year-round program, full scholarship to Craft of Choreography and attended Atlanta Ballet with full scholarship. ACES 3rd place 2005, 2nd place 2006. Member of Trinity Dance Ensemble, daughter of Anne and Irby Thompson.
