Honors
In 1992 ADT achieved Honor Company status in the Southeastern Regional Ballet Association (SERBA) and continues to represent the City of Montgomery and the State of Alabama in this prestigious organization. In 2002, Alabama Dance Theatre achieved the status of Advanced Arts Institution with the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
ADT received permission from the Balanchine Trust to perform three Balanchine ballets, Valse Fantaisie (2000), Stars & Stripes (2001) and La Source (2004). All are staged by repetiteur, Darla Hoover.
