"An extraordinary pas de deux ensues. Lucy surrenders completely to the charms of this man and ostensibly appears to be totally in his physical sway. Peinado manages the difficult partnering without a glitch; he twists and turns Perry, literally manhandles her, and, at one point, she is upside down while they are spinning. They commit totally to the movement and the result is breathtaking. This duet is sensuous but creepy, beguiling yet revolting, and ultimately riveting. This pair of dancers create real magic together."
