Mistletoe at Home: Alabama Dance Theatre plans online gift to the community

The Alabama Dance Theatre will open its 34th season,​ A Season of Radiance​, with a virtual production of ​Mistletoe​ ​at Home​ on December 6.


Viewers anywhere may join the celebration by streaming from home at no cost, as ADT’s gift to the community.



Cinderella's spirit gets twice the shine with Alabama Dance Theatre

Remembering Alabama Dance Theatre founder Kitty Seale

Kitty Seale, founder and longtime director of the Alabama Dance Theatre, died Tuesday after a battle with cancer.

Seale, known as Miss Kitty to her dancers, impacted thousands of dancers over the course of more than 30 years as a teacher, choreographer and director. (Continue)


Alabama Dance Theatre presents ‘Stars on the Riverfront’

This weekend, the Alabama Dance Theatre will present the 16th annual “Stars on the Riverfront."

Dancers with ADT will showcase what they learned in an intensive two-week seminar.

The free performances will he held Sunday and Monday at 7:30 p.m. You’re encouraged to bring the family, enjoy a picnic and join the dance company as the sun sets on the Riverwalk Amphitheater. (Continue)
