Riverwalk Amphitheater

The Alabama Dance Theatre is delighted to return to full-scale performances when they present Stars on the Riverfront

at the Riverfront Amphitheatre on July 21 and 22.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director Kate Seale Smith, the ADT Company of pre-professional dancers studies ballet and other styles of dance year-round. The performance will include:            The classic student sampler "Etudes" by our Founding Artistic Director, the late "Miss Kitty" Seale

La Sylphide, one of ballet's oldest existing works from 1835, staged by Shawn Black and polished by Armando Luna

Pas de deux from La Bayadere

Guest artist Taylor Jordan's new contemporary work Stuck on Pause.

Longevity - a new modern piece by Jenny Letner

A Thing Like That -a new contemporary work by Sara Elyse Sanford. Ms. Letner and Ms. Sanford are both award-winning resident choreographers at ADT.

Guest artists Jonathan Chapman and Karen Licari will perform with the ADT Seminar students.

Performances will take place on Sunday, July 21st, and Monday, July 22nd at 7:30 pm.

Gates open at 6 pm. These performances are free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Audiences may bring a picnic. Food trucks Kona Ice and Funky Forte will be on site.
